Isi Recycling Station is a modern waste sorting facility in Bærum Municipality, serving a population of 120,000 residents. The solution ensures an efficient flow of waste in and out of the facility while maintaining high safety standards for both customers and employees. The Avfall Norge Innovation Award stands as visible proof of the project’s success. Isi also operates a state-of-the-art reception for hazardous waste.
Reknes provides the ERP system for Isi Recycling Station, including our self-service solution, which automates the flow of waste entering and leaving the facility.
By streamlining vehicle entry and exit, queue times have been reduced — and the recycling station has increased from 120,000 to 160,000 annual visitors, handling up to 1,800 vehicles per day.
Isi has also become a reference facility internationally, welcoming delegations from Denmark, China, and more.
